Hello friends, welcome back to my little world!

I took it a little easy tonight, no big complicated dishes, just good home cooking.  Couple quick recipes for you, but they are REALLY easy, and make for a great family meal.

Bisquick biscuits

2 cups bisquick mix

1/2 cup + 3 Tbsp milk

Mix in a bowl until a thick dough forms.

Either:

Knead 10 times or until smooth, roll out, cut with biscuit cutter and place on ungreased cookie sheet

OR

Divide into 8 blobs and place directly on ungreased cookie sheet

Bake at 450 degrees 8-10 minutes or until golden.

To go with these, I made:

Sausage Gravy

1/2 lb bulk sausage, browned, DO NOT DRAIN!

In jar with lid or shaker with lid, mix the following:

1 1/2 cups milk

3-4 Tbsp flour

1/2 Tsp salt

1 Tsp fresh ground pepper

Close container, shake WELL.  Add mixture to cooked sausage, stirring frequently, bring to a gentle boil and cook and stir until thick and bubbly.  Serve over biscuits.

And to round out our breakfast for dinner evening, we had bacon and scrambled eggs.  I didn’t get finished shots of these, sorry!

All in all, a very nice meal, and there are only 2 biscuits left, so everyone enjoyed it!

Tomorrow, I’m making a stuffed pork roast, which takes a little more time, so if I’m on the ball, I’ll have lots of prep and finished photos for you, and a cook recipe!

Until then, eat well, love well, live well!!
